Superbug are a 5-piece band located in England's North-West, performing live covers of pop music from the 60's to the present. Songs you know and love, but won't hear every week from other local bands.

About The Band

Front-man and acoustic guitarist Andy Pearson has been playing and singing live both in solo and group formats since his school days. In 2005 he began playing laid-back songs in Waterloo's Touchwood bar with guest appearances from musical friends.

Andy K in Liverpool's Cavern Club
Keyboard player and backing singer Damien Maher soon became a regular fixture and with the addition of Andy King on Electric guitar the current line-up began to develop.

Pete's Van with original owner
Further depth was added to the group with the arrival of David Pearson on bass guitar, but not until Pete Chorley joined in on drums were we fully complete.

Pete also has a big red van which - having delivered your letters during it's early career in the employ of a certain national institution - now spends it's latter years delivering high-class Rock 'n' Roll.

Whilst our membership has been evolving, the choice and style of the songs we play has progressed in parallel.

Specialising in 80's pop we now have a catalogue of Songs that can go all the way from the chilled out chic of Van Morrison's "Jackie Wilson Said" to all out rock of the Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil", via 80's classics such as "Somewhere in my Heart" (Aztec Camera) "Fantastic Day" (Haircut 100).

Throw in a bit of punk from The Clash ("Rock the Casbah") or the Buzzcocks ("Ever Fallen in Love ...") and we hope you'll agree it's an entertaining yet eclectic mix.
